Delivering world class total spine care to Northwest Colorado, Steamboat Spine’s collaborative approach includes both non-operative and surgical options to treat spine injuries and degenerative conditions. With a philosophy to first provide the least invasive treatment that allows patients to return to their favorite activities, the SOSI Spine team incorporates conservative, non-surgical treatment options as the initial course of action. If surgery is necessary, our team has extensive training and experience using the latest spine surgery techniques including minimally invasive and motion-preserving devices such as disc replacement.
Regardless of the initial diagnosis or the required treatment, the overarching goal of the spine program is to help patients regain their previous functional status, return to the activities they love, and improve their quality of life.
The Spine Team
Dr. J. Alex Sielatycki is a board-certified and fellowship trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon. His practice focuses on spine motion preservation including disc replacement to avoid spinal disc fusions whenever possible. He has extensive training and experience in the treatment of many spinal conditions including cervical disc replacement and he is heavily involved with the development of lumbar total joint replacement.
Dr. Brian Siegel, a board-certified non-operative Spine Specialist, and Anesthesiologist specializes in interventional pain management and regenerative medicine. He offers patients minimally invasive treatment options to treat acute and chronic pain problems utilizing a variety of interventional treatments including nerve blocks, steroid injections, spinal cord stimulators and regenerative medicine treatments.
Dr. Tyson Sloan, is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician, also known as Physiatrist, with expertise in non-operative spine care. He specializes in spine imaging interpretation, clinical examination skills, interventional spine injections, active rehabilitation, and electrodiagnostic procedures (EMG, nerve conduction).
